Distribution centre for IKEA Russia

Largest single project in Jungheinrich's history

Complete logistics solution from a single source from Jungheinrich

15-aisle high-bay warehouse with 210,000 pallet spaces

Hamburg/Moscow: A new IKEA distribution centre has gone into operation in Esipovo, about 50 kilometres northwest of the Russian capital Moscow. The logistics solution, which includes a 15-aisle high-bay pallet warehouse in silo design with a total of 210,000 pallet spaces, was supplied to IKEA by Hamburg-based intralogistics expert Jungheinrich. As the general contractor, Jungheinrich is responsible for the implementation of all intralogistics tasks from a single source and, as a system integrator, for the overall solution. The warehouse is 200 metres long, 130 metres wide and 45 metres high. The contract awarded by IKEA in 2015 is the largest single project in Jungheinrich's corporate history.
