Jungheinrich has supplied trucks from its electric-powered Kombi EKX range of very narrow aisle stacker/order pickers to West Bromwich-based haulage and warehousing specialist Sheldon & Clayton Ltd.
The trucks will operate within Sheldon & Clayton’s new £1.5 million warehouse which is located in the heart of the Black Country. Recently completed, the new unit is the third warehouse that Sheldon & Clayton has built on its 10 acre site and its opening marks the latest phase of a development plan that has seen the company invest some £8million in new storage facilities.
The 50,000 sq ft store is 10 metres high and its narrow aisle configuration provides some 5,000 pallet locations for a broad range of product lines...
